Overview: This project was inspired by the problem of overheating and sudden shutdowns while playing games. This happened to my friend's computer, but we couldn't pinpoint when the overheating occurred. So, I came up with this project idea:
To create a graph that displays temperature readings over time, allowing users to easily identify when overheating occurs.
Potential Impact:
This project has the potential to help gamers and computer users identify and resolve overheating issues more quickly and easily. By providing a clear and concise visualization of temperature data, this project can help users understand when their computers are overheating and take steps to prevent future problems.
Problem:The current problem is that when the computer overheats, it is difficult to identify the cause. Users may not know which games or programs are causing the overheating, or when the overheating starts.
Solution: We propose a solution that involves creating a program that logs data about the computer's state and then visualizing this data in an easy-to-understand format for users. This will allow users to identify patterns and correlations that may not be obvious from simply looking at current temperature readings.
Pre Resserch I have researched many CPU temperature monitoring programs, but they only show current data. They typically do not provide historical data or show the total time the CPU has been overheated.
Purpose: The goal is to provide users with an easy-to-understand way to visualize their computer's temperature history, allowing them to assess the situation and identify the cause of overheating issues.

An alternative approach would be to display the CPU temperature information on-screen while gaming. This would allow users to see in real-time when the CPU is overheating and when it is cooling down.
Additional Notes:
-The project could be extended to include other system metrics, such as CPU usage and fan speed.
-The project could be integrated with a notification system that alerts users when the temperature reaches a certain threshold.
